Volunteering with the Gwin Oaks PTA isn’t one-size-fits-all. Whether you’ve got 10 minutes or a few hours, there’s a place for you on our team.
When you give your time, big or small, you’re helping create the kind of school experience every child deserves. Bonus: it’s also a great way to meet other families and show your child that you’re all in for their success.
Committees We’re Building This Year
Pick one that speaks to your strengths (or your curiosity):
- Community Events & Programs - Holiday Shop Spirt Nights, Field Day, Reflections, All Pro Dads/Moms
- Staff Hospitality - All staff gifts, appreciation events, luncheons; Teacher & Staff Appreciation, Holiday Lunch/Gifts + Teacher Appreciation Week
- Membership – Spread the word, help with events, and welcome new members
- Fundraising – Work with local businesses and brainstorm creative ways to give
- Bingo Night – Help plan our big fall event — energy and ideas welcome
- Sweetheart Dance – Bring the magic to our most-loved night of the year
- Communications & Social Media – Help us keep families in the loop and the vibe strong online
- Kindergarten & 5th Grade Celebrations – Plan milestone moments for our youngest and oldest students, they only happen once!
- General Volunteer Squad – Do you just want to help when you can? Join this group, and we’ll reach out as things pop up
