What I Do- With Lauren Armstrong, my Co-President, I lead the Board in setting our annual goals, overseeing the work of implementing new ideas and beloved events, maintaining relationships with you, our teachers, and staff, and communicating our needs and our successes.

What I Do- In partnership with my Co-President, Carrie Barnes, I help coordinate the work of our PTA to support our mission of strengthening the connection between families and our school. Together, we lead regular PTA meetings, collaborate with committees, and serve as a liaison between school families, volunteers, and staff to foster communication, engagement, and a strong school community.

What I Do: I support the President and help bring our big ideas to life, whether it's planning events, organizing volunteers, or just being a second set of hands (and brain!).

What I Do: I’m all about teamwork! I help where needed—coordinating projects, answering questions, and making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

“Teamwork makes the dream work” is a John Maxwell quote heard around my house on a regular basis. Through collaboration between the PTA Board, the educators at Gwin Oaks, and fellow parents like you, I look so forward to living by this motto in this role to support our kiddos. Come join us!
What I Do: I take notes so you don’t have to! I keep track of meeting minutes, help with communication, and make sure important info doesn’t fall through the cracks.

What I Do: I manage the PTA budget and keep an eye on the numbers. Basically, I make sure we’re spending wisely and that every dollar supports our school.
